Caring Couples Ministry The purpose of this ministry is to assist couples in every stage of relational development to create a God-honoring marriage that thrives on commitment, intimacy and growth. Culinary Ministry This ministry is responsible for providing hospitality through meals of nutritional value in the preparation of food for the weekly Sunday breakfast and special events. Drama Ministry There shall be a performance; Luke 1:45b The purpose of this ministry is to encourage the members of Living Word to express themselves through plays, dance, music, and poetry. Gatekeepers "I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than to dwell in the tents of wickedness." (Psalm 84:10) The Gatekeeper ministry is responsible for being attentive to the needs of the congregation. Gatekeepers help the Pastor to make the service a success by assisting in the efforts of putting the congregation in the right frame of mind to receive what God has in store for them by willingly greeting them with a pleasant smile, a warm welcome, providing worshippers with church related materials and directing them to seats when they first arrive at Living Word. Girlfriends Ministry Under the Leadership of Pastor Tracy Quick Girlfriends is designed to meet the needs of Christian Women that have a desire to fellowship, worship and enjoy life together. And it is through our Girl Power--Empowerment Sessions and our Girl Time Outings--that we're changing lives--One Girlfriend At A Time! Girlfriends is open to all members and friends 18 years of age and older.
Greeters Ministry "I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than to dwell in the tents of wickedness." (Psalm 84:10) The function of the Living Word Greeters' Ministry is to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere to the church members and guests of Living Word. They are the initial contact of "The Godly, Giving, Growing AND Loving Experience," setting the tone by greeting everyone with friendly hugs and warm, loving spirits. Media Ministry Adoration was created to cultivate an atmosphere of praise and worship, through song, during our worship services. This ministry is comprised of a goup of anointed vessels that continues to bless God and his people by lifting thier voices and singing praises unto His holy name. Men in Charge As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. (Proverbs 27:17) The purpose of this ministry is to focus on the total man empowering the men of Living Word spiritually, economically, physically, academically and socially to be godly leaders in their homes and places of influence utilizing biblical principles.
